How can brands embrace this paradox and adapt to this continually shifting environment without compromising their identity to sustain and grow brand value? Join our panel of brand experts as they discuss topics including (but not limited to):

Moderator: Lora Louise Broady

Lora Louise Broady has been marketing new and emerging technologies for nearly 25 years, specializing in the telecommunications, cable, and financial services industries including Comcast, Sprint Cable, Qwest Dex, and Invesco Funds Group. As a marketing management consultant, she specialized in digital marketing strategy, new product development, global branding, and business process reengineering.  She currently works for Pearson in an academic strategy role within the higher ed marketing arena, while also serving as an adjunct faculty member teaching Brand Management in the Daniels School of Business.  During her 10 years in teaching at DU, she also collaborated with a team of digital professionals to create the New Media and Internet Marketing master’s program and served as the curriculum development manager to design the initial suite of digital marketing courses.    Lora Louise earned her MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, and her BA in Political Economics from Colorado College.

Bruno Benedini, Senior Director, WANT Branding

Bruno Benedini is a specialist in brand architecture, naming and strategy and has 13 years of international experience working with small, medium and Fortune 500 companies. Bruno is currently a Senior Director of WANT Branding, a leading New York-based branding agency responsible for creating brands such as Gillette’s Mach3, SiriusXM, Cricket Wireless and Nexium. Bruno has managed over 400 branding projects on behalf of clients from a wide range of industries including financial, medical, hospitality, retail and food and beverage. He had also led a wide variety of projects—many in collaboration with some of the most preeminent firms of their kind—including brand research, implementation, positioning and taglines.

Bruno has worked with Royal Caribbean, Cardinal Health, Brand USA, Ajinomoto, Humana, JC Penney, Time Warner Cable, Aetna, Dell, Farberware, Johnson & Johnson, MGM Resorts, LexisNexis, Barilla, Merrill Lynch, Polaroid,  WhiteWave Foods and Staples, among several others.

Bruno graduated with honors from Berklee College in Boston, MA. 
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno is also fluent in Portuguese & Spanish.


Fred Hart , Creative Director and Partner, Interact on Shelf

Fred Hart is a Partner and Creative Director at Interact Boulder, a spirited branding and packaging design firm that works exclusively with food and beverage brands. Fred shepherds Interact’s work, helping shape its progressive, innovative and forward thinking clients with inspired, strategy-driven design and visual storytelling. Fred’s CPG experience includes work in multiple bleeding-and-leading edge food categories, as well as nearly every beverage category imaginable.

When Fred’s not walking through a grocery store like it’s an art museum, he’s actively exploring cities on foot and disproving the notion that white men can’t jump.

Kate Jacobs, Account Manager, Blue Moon Digital

As an Account Manager at Blue Moon Digital, Inc., Kate oversees the ecommerce strategy and project management of client accounts through industry knowledge, detailed organization and insightful data analysis. She spends her time turning data into stories that impact brand performance. With an extensive background in retail and guest service management, Kate understands the customer journey and the intricate role that digital plays along the way.

Kate has a B.S in Marketing and International Business from the University of Minnesota and a M.S. in Marketing from the University of Denver. She spends most of her free time outdoors: hiking, skiing, camping, rafting and running around with her pup, Renegade.

Mark Snipe, Owner of Sully & Co

Mark Snipe founded Sully & Co. in October 2013 in Denver, Co combining his passion for classic menswear and American-made goods.  A former finance executive with over 16 years experience with companies such as NBC Universal and Bank of America, Mark began his transition to men’s apparel working for the quintessential American brand, Ralph Lauren, before moving to French label, Lacoste. After setting his sites on the buzzing city of Denver, Mark set out to create the shopping experience he had wished for with a storefront that sold clothes he would wear. The result is a shop with well-made, high quality product. 


Steve Hamaker, Design Director

Steve Hamaker is a visual designer and director. Specializing in brand identity design and development, Steve has created branding and advertising campaigns for multiple clients including HGTV, Whole Foods Market, Hallmark Cards, Chattanooga Whiskey, Scotts Miracle-Gro, Rock Bottom Brewery, Bauer Hockey, New West Records, & Krystal Restaurants. With over 20 years of design and leadership experience, Steve has worked with companies in the apparel, branding, marketing, advertising and web industries as well as numerous start-ups.  Steve studied graphic design at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. He enjoys family time, trail running, snow skiing, and hoppy beer(s).
