Jason Wedekind has been obsessing over typography for a long time. As owner of Genghis Kern Letterpress + Design he strives to create tactile experiences for clients, whether designing an identity from scratch or taking an existing brand and pushing it over the edge through unique production methods. Ten years ago while working as an art director at a small firm he started letterpress printing and collecting wood type. Little did he know the roads that would take him down. Now Genghis Kern does it all from designing and printing one off commemorative prints using hand-set type to producing 30,000 soap boxes. Ask him any type/design/letterpress questions and be prepared for way too long of answers.
