Announcing FREE Digital Marketing Educational Webinar Series

DENVER (Jan. 8, 2010) – Designed to meet the increasing need for digital marketing education, the Colorado Chapter of the American Marketing Association (COAMA) is excited to announce an original series of educational webinars to elevate the digital marketing expertise of Colorado’s professional marketing and advertising community – Digital Dynamics: 2010.

The COAMA developed the Digital Dynamics: 2010 educational webinar series as a result of a member survey that showed a keen interest in the topic. Thousands of marketers will have access to this program as COAMA collaborates with local groups such as the New Denver Ad Club and other AMA chapters nationwide. Denise Horton, president of Teton Marketing Partners and a graduate student at Boulder Digital Works at CU-Boulder, is Chairperson of Digital Dynamics: 2010.

The series features sessions about integrating digital with traditional marketing practices (February 17th), social media ROI (March 31st), mobile marketing (April 28th) and an advanced session about trends and future opportunities (June 10th).  The series will present compelling, relevant and emerging topics delivered by digital industry leaders with deep expertise and track records of success. Leading companies like Crispin Porter + Bogusky (2008 Digital Agency of the Year), Omnicom, Networked Insights, Cerado, Merkle Advertising, Victors & Spoils and Anonymous Media Research will be featured throughout the webinar series. In addition to the free webinars, the June 10th paid live event will give a snapshot of trends and what the future holds in digital marketing.

“We feel it is important to offer the marketing community relevant and timely topics that could impact their job now,” said COAMA Chapter President Sally Mayberry. “In a highly competitive environment, improving our members’ digital marketing skills and knowledge is crucial. It gives them the ability to leverage digital marketing to build their brands, connect with their consumers and ultimately grow their sales and customer base.”

Webinar attendees will get up-to-speed on the latest success stories, emerging trends and future technologies in digital marketing. They will hear from some of the brightest, most dynamic minds in the industry. Attendees will learn from the experts’ experiences, be inspired by their ideas and be ready to take their digital marketing program to a whole new level. The kick-off webinar on February 17th from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, is the Crispin Porter + Bogusky “Peep Show”, and it features one of the digital industry’s leading executives, Winston Binch, the Vice President/General Manager for Interactive at CP + B.  For details and registration, go to www.coloradoama.com/DD2010.
