Erin Kuwitzky
President
Erin Kuwitzky is founder and principal of Denver-based internet marketing and web communications firm, 517 Search Labs. Her company was founded upon the simple belief that your online brand identity needs to be consistent with your offline brand identity. Erin has been driving traffic and sales to websites for years; she manages online media with a keen eye toward sustainable ROI. Erin understands the power of a single click of the mouse and is devoted to staying on top of all the latest news, tricks and tools of the Internet marketing industry.
Erin joined the AMA board in 2008 for its eclectic mix of marketing professionals and industry masterminds. Since joining AMA she has genuinely enjoyed the many amazing relationships she has formed through AMA. The great people who are actively involved in AMA have become not only her business connections but friends and mentors.
Erin is a graduate of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, where she earned two BS Degrees with honors in Advertising and in Textiles, Clothing and Design. She is an avid skier, golfer and a die-hard college football fan. Although a Colorado resident, she can be found every Saturday in the fall cheering on her "Big Red" Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Heather Loader
President-elect
Heather Loader, MBA has been in marketing for more than 10 years. She has worked in corporate and agency environments defining strategies for traditional and digital media. Currently with Ascedia, a digital agency, she heads up account relations and strategy for the western region. Prior to joining Ascedia she was with Barnhart, the agency of record for Wyoming Travel and Tourism. She also worked for Weaver Multimedia, as the Director of Partner Relations, broadening her experience in publishing and online efforts for Convention and Visitors Bureaus in Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles and Chicago. Heather also spent a few years as a Public Relations Coordinator for a private investment firm.
Heather is a Denver native and earned a BA from Colorado State University and an MBA from Colorado University, Denver.
Bridget Berninger
Secretary
Bridget Berninger is an Account Manager at The General Services Administration (GSA) in Lakewood, Colorado, where she executes strategic action plans for federal agency real estate in the western states.
She began her career as an assignment editor, producer and writer for local news stations in the Albany, New York and Denver television markets. Bridget worked as a copywriter and editor for a government contracting company where she was part of a creative marketing and communications team.
Though she now happily calls Denver home, Bridget hails from Kinderhook, New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from the College of Saint Rose. She loves everything this wild west has to offer, a city life with a small town feel and mountains so stunning they can strike a gal speechless.
Dawn Bowden
Treasurer
Dawn Bowden, Ph.D., has worked in the health care industry for over 15 years, serving in leadership roles for companies such as CIGNA, Ceridian Corporation, United Health Group, and NordicTrack. Her work includes teaching, research, and management of projects in innovation, strategic marketing, change management, and health care delivery. She holds a Ph.D. from the International School of Management in Paris, France and is an active member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the American Marketing Association
Gina Nykerk
VP Programming
Gina Nykerk works for Emma, a Web-based email marketing and communications company that helps small businesses, designers and agencies create, send and track stylish email campaigns. Gina was Emma's 12th employee when she started 5 years ago, and has spent the last 3 years spearheading the sales and business development efforts in the Denver office. A Magna Cum Laude graduate in Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Gina loves working from the Denver outpost and enjoys spending time in Colorado's great outdoors. When she's not busy biking in the summer or boarding in the winter, she greatly enjoys doing a bit of globetrotting.
Gaelle Callnin
VP Membership
Gaëlle Callnin is responsible for the global marketing and business development efforts of Virtual Words, an international language services company with offices in Europe and the United States. A native of Paris, Gaëlle is herself a product of bilingual and bicultural education and profoundly adept at understanding different cultures and perspectives.
Prior to joining Virtual Words in 2008, Gaëlle held several key executive and managerial positions with companies in the language and software industries. Throughout her fifteen-year career, Gaëlle has worked and developed expertise to satisfy, serve and support the diverse mix of clients, as well as manage the technology and tools requirements of the language industry at large. In order to optimize success for Virtual Words and her clients, Gaëlle draws upon every aspect of her formal training and education in global marketing and communications, along with a diverse collection of experiences in Paris, New York, Miami, Washington DC, and Lyon, France.
Gaëlle currently resides in Denver, Colorado, United States with her family and an extensive network of close friends and professional colleagues.
Monica Moore
VP Sponsorship
Monica Moore currently serves as the VP of Sponsorship for the Colorado American Marketing Association in addition to various contract marketing jobs and her search for full-time employment. Her most recent corporate marketing position was senior marketing manager for Intermap Technologies Inc. based in Englewood, CO. Her work at Intermap spanned nearly nine years and included a variety of marketing roles with Monica's most recent responsibilities being the management of all marketing programs, including trade shows, events, special promotions, and Webinars as well as overseeing the Company’s lead management and lead nurturing activities.
Prior to joining Intermap, Monica has held various positions within marketing, program and project management, customer service, and sales. Her education includes a MBA in marketing and information systems from Regis University as well as an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in finance. Currently, Monica is pursing her Certification as a Trade Show Marketer. Aside from her support of Colorado AMA she works with Metro Partners, a youth mentoring program, as well as supporting community events for Douglas County Search & Rescue, and pursuing her certification as a yoga instructor.
