David is a research manager for Corona Insights, a market research and strategic consulting firm headquartered here in Denver. In his more than 4 years at Corona he has worked with a very diverse set of clients, from major Universities, government agencies, small nonprofits, and large consumer brands. While he oversees all methods of research at Corona, from quantitative to qualitative, his specialty lies in survey research and brand research. David also serves as the firm’s marketing manager overseeing the brand, business development, and marketing material creation. David recently managed Corona’s own rebrand from Corona Research to Corona Insights.
While still a new member of AMA, David has already enjoyed the benefits of being a member and is looking forward to his role as VP of Research. David also serves on the board of AD2 Denver, a young professionals group of marketers and advertisers. In 2009-2010 he co-chaired the public service committee, leading an integrated campaign for a local nonprofit, including research, branding, creative, and media – the total value of the work totaled more than $400 thousand. This campaign recently took second place at the national AAF competition among all AD2 chapters. When not in the office, David escapes to the mountains where he enjoys skiing and ice climbing in the winter and hiking and rock climbing in the summer.
Prior to joining Corona Research, David was a Research Assistant for the Department of Marketing at Colorado State University, where he assisted with research in the areas of professional selling and sales management. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Missouri.
