Treasurer – Kate Donelan

Kate Donelan has been on the Colorado AMA Board since 2004 serving as VP of Programming, Logistics and Secretary. Kate is the owner of Focus Quest, a qualitative marketing research company.

Kate began her professional career, as a volunteer in the Peace Corps teaching local farmers how to raise fish. Out of this experience, she developed an interest in the field of marketing. Upon returning from Africa, Kate worked as Development Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Boulder, and held the same position at the American Heart Association in Oakland, CA. She switched out of the non-profit arena, and joined Splash Technology as a Marketing Coordinator, specializing in writing and producing customer case studies in video and written formats. She discovered her enjoyment in talking with customers and learning from them during this process.

Kate has an MBA from Santa Clara University and graduated Suma Cum Laude with a BA in British Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is heavily involved in her two sons' schools, a new convert to long distance running, a skier, and loves to play games.
